Welcome to the website of the Speedsolving.com Championship 2023!

Rules:
- Registration is not needed. Only members of speedsolving.com can participate.
- Every Monday in the year 2023, I will post random scrambles for each WCA event to the thread linked above.
- Use stackmat if possible. If you have to use spacebar timing, please make sure not to touch the cube between inspection and starting the timer.
- You can choose what events you compete in. These events may vary per week.
- After solving, you check if your results are better than the current record. If they aren't, you don't have to submit results. You only have to submit your results if they are better than the current record.
- Results have to be submitted via PM (DM) to me on speedsolving.com. Results submitted in any other way will be discarded. Exception: I don't have to PM myself :)
- Results submitted after the scrambles for the following week have been posted will also be discarded.
- When submitting a record for a single result, please mention the scramble that the record was set on. For short events, please include a reconstruction if possible.
- When submitting a record for an average/mean result, include all single results for each respective scramble.
- For FMC records, always include the solution(s), and provide an explanation for why the solution(s) work(s).
- Records exist only for WCA recognized categories.
- Every week after releasing the new scrambles, the records will be updated.
- Video evidence of your solves is highly recommended. Records submitted with video evidence will always be accepted, unless there is enough reason to believe that the scramble was prepared or the video faked. (e.g. the times being much faster than your recent official results)
- Video evidence will not be shared with anyone, unless given permission. If given permission, I will only share the video on the record page and on the thread on speedsolving.com.
- If no video evidence exists, the record may still be accepted if there is not enough reason to not believe it was real.
- Not counting a sumbitted record may only happen if most of the community agrees that it should not count. For this, a poll will be made and whatever the result is after 3 days will be considered final. Should the poll ever result in a 50/50, the record will be counted.
- For a Multiblind attempt of N cubes, the first N scrambles on the list should be used.
- Changes in these rules or may be requested in the thread on speedsolving.com. The same is true for questions you might have. This prevents certain requests or questions to be done or asked many times.
- At the end of 2023, the person with the best average/mean/single in each event will be crowned the speedsolving.com champion in that respective event.
- Average will be used for: 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, OH, Megaminx, Square-1, Pyraminx, Clock, Skewb
- Mean will be used for: 6x6, 7x7, FMC
- Single will be used for: 3BLD, 4BLD, 5BLD, MBLD
- The 3x3 champion will get the title of Speedsolving.com Champion 2023!
